Snifi Business Funding (“Snifi,” “we,” “us”) is a brand of Busy Ocean LLC. This policy explains what information we collect through snifi.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Snifi is a referral service for small-business owners. We are not a lender.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: when you fill out our form or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, time in business, approximate monthly revenue, your message, and your text-messaging consent choices.
- Information from our conversations: notes from calls, emails and texts with you about your funding request.
- Information collected automatically: basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the page that referred you. Our form and customer-relationship tools may use cookies or similar technologies to keep the form working and to understand how visitors find us.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and talk with you about funding options that may fit your business.
- To send you information you asked for, including application links, status updates and appointment reminders.
- If you separately agree, to send you occasional marketing messages. You can opt out at any time.
- To run, secure and improve our website, and to keep records required by law.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these cases:
- Service providers that help us operate, such as our website host, customer-relationship software, and email and text-messaging providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Funding partners, when you choose to apply. If you decide to apply for funding, you submit your application directly to our funding partner through their secure application. The funding partner’s own privacy policy governs the information you give them.
- Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Text messaging
We send text messages only if you opt in by checking a consent box on our form. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or service.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. This excludes service providers that deliver our text messages on our behalf.
Your choices
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us.
- Texts: reply STOP to any message.
- Access or deletion: email us to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it. We may keep some records where the law requires it.
Keeping your information
We keep your information as long as needed to help with your request and to meet our legal and business record-keeping needs, and then delete it. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Business use only
Snifi serves business owners in the United States. Our services are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
